Join us for an information session highlighting practice opportunities that connect academic learning with real-world practice.

This session will feature two speakers working at the intersection of research, law, and social justice. Professor Kaushik Sunder Rajan will introduce the Skills Sharing Project, through which students collaborate with lawyers in Colombia and South Africa to develop strategic litigation initiatives in the field of business and human rights.

We will also hear from AK Alilonu, a volunteer with the Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee (EWOC), a grassroots, worker-led network supporting non-unionized workers across the United States. EWOC provides training, organizing support, and resources to help workers build collective power and improve conditions in their workplaces.

The session will provide an overview of the projects, the types of work students can expect to undertake, and how to get involved. It is particularly suited for students interested in human rights, labor justice, and applied, practice-based learning.
